Target Beauty Haul

Hello lovelies,

So yesterday I went to Target and I picked up a few beauty items. The first of these being 3 M.A.C. products. I'm really excited about this, because M.A.C. in Australia is, number 1. really hard to find. and number 2. quite expensive when compared to "drugstore" brands. At Target there was a big discount, the lipstick came down to $21 dollars instead of $36, the lipglass was $21 instead of $35 (I think..) and the eyeshadow was $19 dollars instead of $33. Big Savings!

The blush in the picture my mum actually bought for herself, and it's in the colour 'Flirt and Tease'. The eyeshadow is 'Creamy Bisque' which I was super excited to get because a lot of my favourite YouTube beauty vloggers use it and it's a lovely base colour with a bit of shimmer. The lipglass is in 'The Wee Coquette' and it was the very last lipglass they had left and it goes perfectly with the lipstick 'Pervette' which was the last pretty coloured lipstick left. I cannot even describe how exciting it is for me to now own M.A.C. makeup.

The second thing I got was this palette from Chi Chi which is the Beach Babe Palette. This was 25% off so I got it for $15 which is a pretty good saving for a 6 colour palette. There was a palette that I liked a bit better than this one but only the tester was left so I got the closest colour match that I could.

I'd been looking for a fluorescent pink nail polish as a dupe for China Glaze's Shocking Pink and found it in Chi Chi's 'Elegant Extravanganza. This polish goes on pretty nice and takes 3-4 coats to get full coverage I would say. Mint green is one of my favourite colours at the moment so I was happy to buy 'Don't Hide Yourself'. This colour goes on so, so sheer and moderately streaky, and as such takes 4+ coats to get full coverage.

My final purchase was Maybelline's Baby Lips lip balm. I have seen this lip balm on YouTube and I've also had friends recommend it to me, so I thought it was about time I tried it. I got it in 'Cherry Velvet' which is the unopened one (I love how the packaging matches the actual stick!) and the open one is 'Energizing Orange'. It goes on sheer and is really smooth and feels lovely on the lips, however, I have found for me that it doesn't last very long and needs reapplying quite frequently. Also it isn't quite orange, sort of a medicine-orange flavour.

Anyway, that's about all for today, and I shall see you all in my next post. Bye!
